It is nestled among the wine farms on the Olifants river , at the foot of the Cedarberg mountain range in the Klawer wine region. The setting is simply stunning! The owner Sparky , has a mass of experience in the hospitality trade as an ex-overland truck driver/guide. He has put this knowledge to good use in his design of the camp, ensuring all camping needs are met. Highlanders is set on 3 levels therefore giving campers plenty of space between each of the 5 individual camp areas. Each camp has a 'braai' pit, sink unit & power. Our latest addition is our 12 roomed (ensuite & aircon) Lodge . There are stunning mountain views from the solar-powered hot showers . The prime position is given to the licensed bar & swimming pool on the top level of the camp with breathtaking views of the wine farms & mountains. Highlanders offers a unique 'wine / cheese tasting incorporating 7 of the regions most finest wines... So why not come by & say 'Howzit'... then enjoy the scenery, around the pool with a glass or two of fine wine!
