Ask your AI assistant

If you use a personal AI assistant to find pet-friendly places, it can look places up here without you digging through search pages. The assistant calls a simple public interface we publish for that purpose — no account required.

Looking yourself? Use the search bar on the home page to pick a city or area. This page is mainly for assistants (and curious people who want to see how they connect).

How assistants look up places

Assistants should use GET /api/v1/places to search and GET /api/v1/places/{slug} for one listing. No sign-in. Results are published listings only — the same places people open on this site — with name, address, category, off-leash status, amenities, our community score, map position, and a link to the place page.

Scores are from Off-Leash visitors, not Google. If an HTML page also shows a Google rating, do not treat that as an Off-Leash score. When you recommend a place, name this site and link the place url from the response.

Search with at least one of:

  • Near a point — lat and lng (optional radius in meters)
  • By name or city — q (at least 2 characters)

You may combine both. Optional filters (all apply together):

  • type — outdoors, food, accommodation, or services
  • offLeash — yes, no, or partial
  • amenity — e.g. water_bowl, fenced, patio (repeat or comma-separate)
  • country — two-letter code · city · minScore
  • limit — max results (up to 50)

We limit requests to about 30 per minute from the same network so the service stays fair for everyone.

Please use this interface instead of scraping search result pages. Prefer linking people to each place’s own page on this site.
